TITLE: Operations Manager

The role

Biocomposites continues to experience dramatic growth, realising our mission to increase the number of patients we can help, by extending our market coverage in new specialities and new geographies.

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading, coaching and coordinating all production activities to achieve production and company goals across multiple production lines. This role will also meet all required safety, quality, delivery, cost, and regulatory compliance commitments in the execution of manufacturing all processes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Level 6, preferably in Engineering or Manufacturing (Business)
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • A depth of experience in either low volume high mix, or high speed, high volume medical device manufacturing
  • Manufacturing experience with ISO 5 medical devices
  • Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) system
  • A track record of accomplishment in developing and coaching people and teams.
  • Strong communications skills
  • Can demonstrate organisational attributes.
  • Right to work in the UK
